Cass & Co. was founded by Elaine Mullen Cassinelli in 1982. Elaine grew up in the Boston area and her family had in-home help, so she understands the need for all kinds of childcare and domestic help.

Elaine is a registered nurse and former nursery school owner with an avid interest in child development, special-needs childcare, adoption, eldercare and household staffing, as well as training. Elaine saw the need for in-home professional nannies and child-care assistants in the early 1980's while she was teaching. She was frequently asked "Do you know of anyone that can come to my home to care for my children?"

Since that time, many of her repeat clients have graduated to needing domestic help, and Cass & Co. now offers House Managers, Housekeepers, Chefs/Cooks, Laundresses, Nanny/Managers, Family Assistants, Housemen, Companions/Eldercare, Personal Assistants, Butlers, Couples, Estate Managers, Executive Housekeepers, Governesses/Tutors and Chauffeurs.

In 2005 Cass & Company, LLC was purchased by Sara Cassinelli, MS, who currently functions as Cass & Co's owner/manager. Cass & Co, remains a family owned and run business. Sara Cassinelli, is a marriage and family therapist and educator with a keen sense for recruitment and placement of quality household candidates. Sara has worked as a nanny for many private families, and currently having her own family employs household employees. This experience coupled with a strong background in child development and family therapy, has instilled in Sara a discerning sense of the needs of families as well as household employees.

Donna Goodridge functions as Cass & Co's office manager and works daily in recruitment as well as placement. Donna has worked as a Registered Nurse for 35 years, and has joined the Cass & Co team as an enthusiastic recruiter. Donna brings both unique professionalism to the team as well as a love for working with people and tremendous energy and enthusiasm for matching candidate strengths with clients unique requests/needs.
